Simple and Realistic Data Generation
Kenneth Houkjær,Kristian Torp, Rico Wind
In Proceedings of the 32nd international conference on Very large
data bases, Seoul, Korea, September 12-15,2006

Abstract:
This paper presents a generic, DBMS independent, and highly
extensible relational data generation tool. The tool can efficiently
generate realistic test data for OLTP, OLAP, and data streaming
applications. The tool uses a graph model to direct the data
generation. This model makes it very simple to generate data even
for large database schemas with complex inter- and intra table
relationships. The model also makes it possible to generate data
with very accurate characteristics.

A Test Bed for Exploring Novel Concepts in Mobile Service Delivery
Rico Wind, Christian S. Jensen, Kenneth H. Pedersen, Kristian Torp
In Proceedings of the Eighth International Conference on Mobile Data Management, Mannheim, Germany, pp. 218-220, May 7-11, 2007.

Abstract:
This paper describes an open, extendable, and scalable system that
supports the delivery of context-dependent content to mobile
users. The system enables users to receive content from multiple
content providers that matches their demographic data, active
proles, and context such as location and time. The system also
allows users to subscribe to specic services. In addition, it allows
users to provide their own content and services, by either using the
system's publicly available interface or by lling out one of the
service-conguration templates.

An Open Platform for the Creation and Deployment of Transport-Related Mobile Data Services
Rico Wind, Christian S. Jensen, Kristian Torp in
Proceedings of the Sixth European Congress and Exhibition on
Intelligent Transport Systems and Services, Aalborg, Denmark, 8
pages, June 18-20, 2007.
Abstract: Advanced mobile computing devices with
wireless communication and geo-positioning capabilities are
finding increasingly widespread use in Europe and beyond. Example
devices include smart phones, PDA phones, and navigation
systems. It is thus becoming increasingly relevant and attractive
to utilize these devices and the related communication
infrastructure for the deployment of transport-related mobile
services. This paper describes the architecture of a service
platform that enables users to create their own mobile
services. The platform is based on standard hardware and software
technologies and offers integration of transportation-related
services with other services.
